Miss Leah Edalgo is a teacher at Lee County Middle School East with 13 years experience; all of those being in Lee County at the middle school level. She earned a B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Southwestern State University and later earned certification in Middle School Math and Social Studies. 

Miss Edalgo has a son, Cohen, who is a junior at Lee County High School. Her hobbies include reading, hiking, and traveling.
